  • Go Go T Rex Trail!

Tue 14 Jun 2022 Mrs Garratt

Mrs Everett and two year 2 children visited the Forum in Norwich for the GoGo Discover Learning and Community Programme Launch. It was a fantastic event filled with the sound of young people having fun and the opportunity to see the other T Rex and meet the other winning designers. We are all really excited to see our T Rex when the trail opens! Go Go Ghost Hill :)

  • Comic Relief!

Mon 28 Mar 2022 Mrs Garratt

A HUGE well done to everyone at Ghost Hill Infant and Nursery School for raising an awesome £197 for Comic Relief. It was a real team effort with everyone coming to school dressed in their pyjamas and bringing in their loose change. A second hand mug sale was also held after school that helped to boost the end total. :)

  • Ghosthillasaurus!

Mon 21 Feb 2022 Mrs Garratt

Ghosthillasaurus is complete! The children gave 3 cheers and wished them well before they were wrapped in bubble wrap ready to be transported to the city and stored away safely prior to the TRex trail in the Summer.

We will keep you updated as to the final location...

Every child in our school has been helping to decorate our T.rex and we are hoping to be part of the EDP news spread on Wednesday 16th February. The photos below show the two winners of the design and name competition standing proudly next to our T Rex.  Well done!

  • Green Team

Mon 13 Dec 2021 Mrs Garratt

Miss Sorrell (Science lead) has set up a Green Team at Ghost Hill Infant and Nursery School to support the school in becoming more environmentally aware and to help the children to make a difference to the local community. Their first task was to clean lots of empty crisp packets that have been collected to support a local homeless charity in providing blankets for people without shelter at Christmas.

  • Care Home Donations

Wed 08 Dec 2021 Mrs Garratt

A huge thank you to all of our generous families at Ghost Hill Infant and Nursery School. Together we collected all the items pictured under the Christmas Tree to send to the local care homes in the Taverham area to bring Christmas Joy to the residents. Reverend Seabrook was overwhelmed with the generosity.

  • OPEN DAY

Fri 15 Oct 2021 Mrs Garratt

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an open evening for parents to look around the school prior to making their school choices for September 2022!

It will take place on Friday 12th November at 4pm.

The session will begin in the school hall with a little talk from Mrs Garratt and then there is an opportunity to look around the school and see the classes set up for action!

We ask that you wear a mask during your visit and to email the school to let us know that you are attending.

We look forward to seeing you and sharing our amazing school.

  • GoGoDiscover

Wed 04 Aug 2021 Mrs Garratt

GoGoDiscover is Break’s latest art trail in partnership with Wild in Art. It features 21 individually designed T-rex sculptures which have stomped through the streets of Norwich as a guided route to Norwich Cathedral and Dippy the Diplodocus! It encourages explorers of all ages to have fun and learn more about the City while also raising vital money for vulnerable children and young people across the region.

Their Jurassic trail will be on the streets of Norwich from Monday 12th July until Saturday 11th September 2021. Ghost Hill are looking forward to decorating our very own dinosaur in September!
